Vision
Our company desires to become Southeast Asia’s leading digital transformation enterprise in the medical field by using Japanese technology and medical knowledge.
Our representative – CEO Kazuma Abe, upon graduation from Tokyo University, worked at METI Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Mr. Abe involved in promoting the efficiency and digitalization of the service industry, including medial care services and electricity policies. After that, he worked in an IT venture and also ran for election. In 2015, he established a clinical research support company, setting up tight connections with The University of Tokyo’s doctors. In March 2019, he established MEDRiNG Company Limited. As MEDRiNG’s CEO, Mr. Abe aims to provide effective, affordable and accessible medical healthcare to everyone.
The Japanese medical system has strict regulations in terms of legislation and business practices with its public medical insurance system, medical law, clinical research law. The research and development and monetization of the latest digital technology as AI, large-scale organization in the clinic field, etc. is not easy. Meanwhile, in Vietnam, the medical system is more flexible; the research and development and monetization can proceed smoothly.
Many small and medium private clinics in Vietnam have not yet applied technology in patient management as well as clinic operations. At the same time, Vietnam is also lacking in regular health care clinics, early detection helps reduce the burden on upper-level hospitals with severe cases. Taking advantage of both advantages and areas for improvement of the Vietnamese medical market, MEDRiNG decided to develop MEDi clinic management software and promote the development of a chain of smart clinics in Vietnam, then deployed in Southeast Asia.
Greetings from the CEO
- Contributing to the 4.0 health industry in Vietnam
Most of the small and medium private clinics in Vietnam are operating mainly on paper, so they face many difficulties in managing and looking up patient information and medical history. With the goal of bringing Japanese quality into clinic management in Vietnam, we have built and developed MEDI, clinic management software, to improve working efficiency, reduce management costs, standardize Electronic medical records for clinics. With a modern, easy-to-operate interface, cloud application, FHIR’s international EMR (HL7) standard design and ICD10 code, low operating costs, MEDi software will support clinics convert numbers quickly and professionally.
- Eliminate uneven medical allocations, save lives for those who can save
In order to live healthily and happily, medical services are indispensable in each of our lives. However, in Vietnam, there is a situation of “uneven health distribution” and there are many cases of inadequate access to health care. The common reasons such as: the quality of the local medical facility is not good, the distance to the medical facility is too far, the opening time is not suitable, the cost is expensive… making many people unable to receive medical examination.
- Building a chain of smart clinics according to Japanese standards throughout the territory of Vietnam and Southeast Asia
Vietnam has succeeded in controlling Covid 19 epidemics, ranked 5th in the world in GDP growth rate in 2020, and is growing in political and economic field. However, medical materials are still scarce, and the difference in qualifications of medical facilities and doctors is too large, leading to the fact that patients only focus on large hospitals.
To help resolve these issues in Vietnam, we try to establish primary health care and health check right from clinics and recommend only serious cases to large hospitals. We apply Japanese advanced technology, including AI, to develop a clinic chain that can ensure and maintain highest healthcare quality, diagnose and cure diseases from early stages. The clinic chain would help to reduce the number of patients in large hospitals and eradicate medical inequality in Vietnam.
To realize this goal, we decided to establish MEDRiNG Company Limited, headquartered in Hongo, Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan (nearby The University of Tokyo). We would open clinics in Vietnam first, and plan to expand smart clinic chain (clinics without staff) in the future.
